IL SB2993

Amends the Department of Agriculture Law to add "Bicentennial Farms" designation for farms owned 200 years or more by lineal or collateral descendants of the same family.

Authorizes the Department of Agriculture to sell signs at cost to qualified applicants designating Centennial Farms (100+ years), Sesquicentennial Farms (150+ years), or Bicentennial Farms (200+ years).

Requires applications for farm designation signs to be submitted with a required fee to the Department.

Prohibits farm designation signs from containing the name, picture, or other likeness of any elected or appointed public official.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
