Amends the Criminal Code of 2012 to expand the definition of "armed habitual criminal" to include any felony violation of Article 24 (Deadly Weapons Article) rather than only specific weapons offenses.

Removes "unlawful use of a weapon by a felon," "aggravated unlawful use of a weapon," "aggravated discharge of a firearm," and "gunrunning" as separate qualifying offenses under the armed habitual criminal statute.

Maintains that a person commits armed habitual criminal by receiving, selling, possessing, or transferring any firearm after two or more convictions of qualifying offenses, including forcible felonies, controlled substance violations, and other specified crimes.

Classifies armed habitual criminal as a Class X felony.
