IL SB3304

Amends Section 21B-15 of the School Code (Educator Licensure Article) to exempt physicians licensed to practice medicine in all of its branches from educator licensing requirements.

Allows a licensed physician to teach no more than one high school class per school year without holding an educator license.

Requires the class taught by a physician to be approved by the State Board of Education as having academic value.

Students may receive course credit for classes taught by qualified physicians under this exemption.
