IL SB3335

Allows EMTs, EMT-Intermediates, Advanced EMTs, and Paramedics who complete a Department-approved course to carry and administer epinephrine as part of their medical supplies during official duties.

Permits epinephrine to be administered from glass vials, auto-injectors, ampules, or pre-filled syringes.

Authorizes the Director to temporarily modify individual EMS personnel scopes of practice for up to 180 days in response to public health emergencies.

Confirms EMS personnel may practice in pre-hospital emergency care settings, inter-hospital emergency care, and non-emergency medical transport under written or verbal direction of the EMS Medical Director.
