IL SB3336

Amends the Freedom of Information Act to exempt from public disclosure information that is exempted under Section 30.1 of the Pharmacy Practice Act.

Requires pharmacists, registered certified pharmacy technicians, or registered pharmacy technicians to report terminations for actions that may have threatened patient safety to the chief pharmacy coordinator within 60 days.

Designates termination reports as strictly confidential and accessible only to Board of Pharmacy members, Department staff, investigators, prosecutors, and Office of the Illinois Attorney General attorneys in litigation.

Provides immunity from criminal prosecution and civil damages for persons and pharmacies making good faith reports in accordance with policies and procedures.

Specifies that formal complaints and Department orders against licensees remain public records, while underlying termination reports remain confidential.
