Designates May as Motorcycle Awareness Month in Illinois in recognition of motorcycle safety, education, and awareness efforts statewide.

Acknowledges 672,251 licensed motorcyclists in Illinois and the 28-year history of A.B.A.T.E. of Illinois, Inc., which has trained over 138,000 high school students in motorcycle education.

Recognizes A.B.A.T.E.'s presentation of motorcycle awareness programs to over 130,000 participants in Illinois over the past 6 years.

Encourages all motorcyclists to actively promote safe motorcycle operation and promotes the safe sharing of roadways among all users during May.

Directs presentation of a copy of the resolution to A.B.A.T.E. of Illinois as a symbol of state esteem and respect.
