Designates May 4, 2016 as Illinois Epilepsy Advocacy Day in the State of Illinois.

Acknowledges that over 200,000 people in Illinois have epilepsy, with nearly 3 million affected in the United States and 65 million worldwide.

Notes that epilepsy is the fourth most common neurological disorder in the United States, with greater prevalence than autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson's disease combined.

Recognizes that one-third of people with epilepsy live with uncontrollable seizures and that 50,000 people die from epilepsy-related causes annually in the United States.

Directs presentation of suitable copies of the resolution to the Epilepsy Foundation of Chicago, the Epilepsy Foundation of North Central Illinois, and the Epilepsy Foundation of Southern Illinois.
