Urges Congress and the President to provide adequate and consistent funding for the Women, Infant and Children (WIC) Program and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)

Recognizes the role of churches, schools, communities, local charities, and citizens in generating political will to end hunger by 2030

Endorses the global goal to end hunger in the United States and around the world by 2030, recognizing the importance of government policy in achieving this objective

Directs distribution of the resolution to the President, Vice President, Illinois congressional delegation, and other federal and state government officials
