Declares June 20, 2016 as "Dementia-Friendly Community Day" in Grayslake to coincide with the Alzheimer's Association's "Longest Day of the Year" celebration on the summer solstice

Recognizes the Grayslake Fire District and Grayslake Police Department as first adopters of dementia-friendly community training completed in April 2016

Acknowledges Grayslake's goal to become the first dementia-friendly community in Illinois with support from local restaurants, hair salons, financial institutions, and legal businesses

Encourages people from Illinois and surrounding states to visit Grayslake as a model community that welcomes and supports people with dementia and their families and caregivers

Directs suitable copies of the resolution to be presented to the Alzheimer's Association Greater Illinois Chapter and the Mayor of Grayslake
