Illinois Senate memorializes Aubrey Covault, Jr. of Moline, who died on June 6, 2016.

Covault was born June 29, 1930, served in the United States Marine Corps during the 1950s, and worked 30 years in the gas department for Iowa-Illinois Gas and Electric before retiring in 1991.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Temple in Moline and Milan, and enjoyed woodworking, horses, outdoor activities, and medical health journals.

Covault is survived by his former wife Valerie, three daughters, five grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, two brothers, one sister, and several nieces and nephews.

The Senate directs that a copy of this resolution be presented to Covault's family as an expression of sympathy.
