Harold Charles Blaser of Reynolds died on June 20, 2016, and the Illinois Senate expresses condolences to his family and friends.

Blaser was born October 31, 1927, in Taylor Ridge and served in the United States Navy during World War II.

He farmed throughout his life and raised purebred Hereford cattle since 1948, while serving as a member of Hamlet Presbyterian Church, the Rock Island County Farm Bureau, and Reynolds American Legion Post 1166.

Blaser is survived by his wife Ann; four children (Anita, Blair, Lisa, and Brad); three stepchildren; six grandchildren; and seven step-grandchildren.

The Senate directs that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Blaser family as an expression of sympathy.
