Senate resolution honoring Richard H. "Dick" Woellert of Johnsburg, who passed away on June 3, 2016.

Woellert was born February 5, 1934 in Woodstock and was a lifetime McHenry County resident who lived in Johnsburg for over 54 years.

Served as Assistant Chief of the McHenry Township Fire Protection District - Company 2 for 30 years and worked as a manager at Intermatic in Spring Grove for 35 years before retiring in 1999.

Active member of Zion Lutheran Church of McHenry and proudly served in the United States Army.

Survived by his wife Nancy, three children, seven grandchildren, one great-grandson, and three siblings.
