Philip C. Bradley, Jr. of Chatham passed away on June 27, 2016; he was born April 29, 1944 in Springfield to Philip C. and Frances Platt Bradley, Sr.

Graduated from Sangamon State University with a bachelor's degree and delivered the university's first student commencement speech.

Career included teaching sixth grade at Little Flower Elementary, serving as Director for the Illinois Department of Public Aid and Illinois Department of Rehabilitation Services, and becoming President and CEO of the Family Health Network in Chicago in 1996.

Served his community as a member and Elder at Westminster Presbyterian Church and as a trustee for Lincoln Land Community College for 19 years.

Survived by his wife Sylvia Bradley (married August 24, 1974) and daughters Alexandra Viser and Brooke Bradley; preceded in death by his parents.
