Danny D. Hudson of Lake in the Hills passed away on June 10, 2016, and the Illinois Senate expresses condolences to his family and friends.

Hudson was born August 11, 1940, served in the United States Navy from 1958 to 1960 on the USS Essex, and was a resident of Lake in the Hills for 47 years.

Hudson served as a Village Trustee and President of the Police Pension Board and was actively involved in his community.

Hudson was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Joan Hudson, daughter Molly Hudson, and grandson Jeff Hudson.

Hudson is survived by sons Michael and Mark, daughter Michele Kavanaugh, five grandchildren, one great-grandson, his sibling Sandy Johnston, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
