Louis I. Resetich of Moline died on July 10, 2016, and the Illinois Senate expresses condolences to his family and loved ones.

Born January 18, 1924, in East Moline to Ignatius and Jennie O'Korn Resetich; served in the United States Navy during World War II.

Worked at Alcoa in Davenport, Iowa for over 33 years, retiring as unit supervisor in 1982; was a 70-year member and past President of the Slovenian National Benefit Society.

Married Edna M. Geiger on November 11, 1950, and later married Verna Woolley in 1995; survived by wife Verna, two daughters, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

A suitable copy of the resolution will be presented to the Resetich family as an expression of sympathy.
