Andrew Jason Bollman of Dixon died on July 9, 2016; he was born August 25, 1976 in Sterling to parents Dale and Diana Bollman.

Graduated from Walnut High School in 1994 and Augustana College in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in English; developed a passion for photography starting at age 16 and worked as a photojournalist for the Dixon Telegraph.

Attended Northern Illinois University College of Law, graduating in 2005; served as Assistant State's Attorney in Lee County before establishing his own legal practice, Keller and Bollman, in 2015.

Served on the Sauk Valley Community College Board of Trustees and as Board President; appointed President of the Illinois Community College Trustees Association for a one-year term in 2015; also served as President of the Lee County Board of Health.

Survived by his wife Rochelle, son Asher, parents Dale and Diana Bollman, siblings Anthony and Annette, and numerous extended family members; the Illinois Senate expresses sympathy to his family and friends.
