Judy A. McGurn of Crystal Lake passed away on July 20, 2016, and the Illinois Senate expresses condolences to her family and loved ones.

McGurn was born in Evanston on December 3, 1960, to Jo-Ann Reuter Spielman.

She worked at The Breakers restaurant in Crystal Lake for many years, starting as a bus person and eventually becoming manager.

McGurn is survived by her fiancé Tony Amber, her mother, daughter Emily McGurn, son James McGurn Jr., three sisters, and multiple nieces and nephews.

The Senate directs that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to McGurn's family as an expression of sympathy.
