Robert E. "Bob" Reiher of Carlinville passed away on July 30, 2016; he was born on June 22, 1967.

Earned a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Illinois in 1989 and a Master's Degree in Space Sciences from the University of Houston in 1992.

Worked for McDonnell Douglas and NASA at the Johnson Space Center, where he contributed to the design of the International Space Station.

Active in his community as a founding member and President of the St. Vincent de Paul Society at Ss. Mary and Joseph Church and volunteer with the Carlinville High School All-School Musical.

Survived by his wife Lori, daughter Madeline Marie, son Jack Truman, four sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
