David Webster of Geneva passed away on July 10, 2016; he was born January 5, 1941 in Boston, Massachusetts.

Served in the United States Marine Corps from 1958 to 1963 and earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Physiology from Boston University.

Competed as a nationally-ranked tennis player and gymnast, including playing Junior Davis Cup, reaching round of 16 at Junior Wimbledon in 1960, and qualifying for the U.S. Open in 1962.

Coached and taught at the College of DuPage from 1969 to 1999 as tennis, gymnastics, football, and hockey coach, with tennis teams ranked in NJCAA Top 12 seven times, 128 state champions, and gymnastics program producing 60 national medalists and 30 national champions; inducted into Gymnastics Hall of Fame in 1989.

Survived by his wife Barbara of 36 years, four children (Pamela, Allison, Elizabeth, and Andrew), and five grandchildren.
