Mourns the death of Frances Gay Bryant of Godfrey, who passed away on July 24, 2016.

Recognizes Bryant's distinguished career as Director of Programming for KMOX Radio and her lifelong service to community organizations in Alton, including Alton Memorial Hospital, the Junior League, and multiple charitable organizations.

Honors her dedicated involvement with the Episcopal Parish of Alton, where she served on the Vestry, directed church school and youth group for over 25 years, and administered relief funds after the 1993 flood.

Notes that Bryant was named a Woman of Distinction by the Alton YWCA and designated as a Woman of Achievement by the St. Louis area.

Extends condolences to her surviving family: daughter Meg Johnson (Scott Dorris) and grandsons Will and Bryant Johnson.
