Illinois Senate mourns the passing of Francis "Bud" Jones of Elwood, who died on August 7, 2016

Jones worked for Alexander Lumber Company for 43 years until retiring in 1999 and was a member of Teamster Local 179

Served on the Elwood Village Board from 2007 until his death, and previously served as Jackson Township Trustee and President of the Wyndstone Village Homeowners Association

Survived by his children William and Judge Sarah Jones, along with multiple siblings, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews

Senate extends condolences to his family and will present a suitable copy of the resolution to the Jones family
