Illinois Senate mourns the death of Cheryl C. Graham Ptasienski of Waukegan, who passed away on May 29, 2016

Ptasienski graduated from Waukegan High School, Marquette School of Nursing, and College of Lake County; she co-owned Cherdan Events and operated the "Good News Kitchen" for two years

She was a lifelong member of Christ Episcopal Church in Waukegan and held leadership positions in multiple civic and community organizations including the Waukegan Farmers Market, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 281, and various choruses

She is survived by her husband Daniel (married 32 years), mother Marlene, three daughters with their spouses, sister Colleen, and nieces

Senate extends condolences to her family and directs that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Ptasienski family
