Helen Deal of Waukegan passed away on August 25, 2016; she was born November 13, 1935 in Ortonville, Minnesota and was valedictorian of Big Stone City High School class of 1953.

Married Stuart Deal on March 2, 1957 and lived in the Waukegan/Beach Park area where they raised five children during their 59-year marriage.

Worked as office manager of the family paving business, later operated pizza stores, and became a long-time vendor at the National Farm Toy show in Dyersville, Iowa and other shows.

Preceded in death by son Craig and siblings Robert Hublou and Jean Cloos; survived by husband Stuart, three sons, one daughter, four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Illinois Senate expresses condolences to Helen Deal's family and directs that a copy of this resolution be presented to them.
