Honors Ronald L. "Ron" Egan of East Dundee, who died on November 19, 2015, born September 21, 1947 in Chicago.

Recognizes Egan's military service as a highly decorated Vietnam War veteran of the United States Army, awarded the Silver Star, Bronze Star with "V" Device, four Purple Hearts, Army Commendation Medal, and multiple other service medals and badges.

Notes Egan's membership in the Dundee Veterans of Foreign Wars #2298 and his lifelong residence in the Dundee area.

Survived by siblings Judith Jerald, John (Nicole) Egan, and Patricia Del Giudice, along with eight nieces and nephews and many godchildren and friends.

Illinois Senate expresses sympathy to Egan's family and directs presentation of a suitable copy of the resolution to them.
