Wayne L. Webb of McHenry passed away on August 11, 2016; he was born February 26, 1936, in Elmira, New York.

Earned a baseball scholarship to the University of Illinois, graduating in 1958, and received a master's degree in administration from Northern Illinois University.

Taught for 36 years in Elgin School District U-46, founded the Building Trades program, and coached basketball and football.

Built 30 residential homes, primarily in the Elgin area, and was survived by his wife of 57 years, three children, nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Illinois Senate expresses condolences to Webb's family and directs that a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to them.
