Daniel L. Hernandez of Milan died on August 31, 2016, and the Illinois Senate expresses condolences to his family.

Hernandez was born October 20, 1947 in Silvis to Cecil and Virginia Lopez Hernandez, Sr., and married Jeanine Eddy on July 27, 1991.

Hernandez served as a United States Army veteran and worked at John Deere PDC in Milan for 30 years before retiring in 1996.

Hernandez is survived by his wife Jeanine, five children, 11 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and multiple siblings and in-laws.

The Senate directs that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Hernandez family as an expression of sympathy.
