Helyett Caroline Jones of Roodhouse passed away on August 31, 2016, at age 95.

Born October 10, 1920 in Oran, Algeria to Charles and Antoinette Lauribe Pascual; married James A. Jones on January 22, 1945.

Worked at Coffman Drug Store and King Freeze in Roodhouse, then served as a cook in North Greene Junior High Schools for 16 years.

Active community member who gave presentations about her life in North Africa, visited French classrooms as a language tutor, and belonged to Roodhouse Methodist Church, American Legion Auxiliary, Women's Club, and Delta Sorority.

Survived by daughter Nancy Ehlert, son Dick Jones, five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
