Charles "Chuck" L. Maddox of Moline passed away on September 12, 2016, at age 84.

Served 23 years with the Moline Police Department before retiring on March 10, 1979, and later worked at John Deere PDW in Milan.

Korean War veteran and member of the Illinois Police Benevolent Association, Friends Circle Club, and Cavalier Club; enjoyed fishing and gardening.

Survived by his wife Catherine, six children (Frances, Charles "Randy," Shawn, Veronica, John, and Terry), eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Illinois Senate expresses sympathy and condolences to the Maddox family through this memorial resolution.
