Paul Green, a political analyst and professor at Roosevelt University, passed away on September 10, 2016 at age 73.

Served as Arthur Rubloff Professor of Policy Studies at Roosevelt University and Director of the Institute for Politics; worked as political analyst for WGN Radio and guest columnist for Crain's Chicago Business.

Served as Monee Township Supervisor from 1977 to 1983 and was a City Club of Chicago governor for over 25 years, serving as treasurer and chairman since 2011.

Authored several books on Illinois and Chicago politics including "World War II Chicago" and co-authored "The Mayors: The Chicago Political Tradition"; frequently quoted by national news organizations including the New York Times, Washington Post, Time, and Newsweek.

Survived by his wife Sharon of 47 years and daughter Sarah; preceded in death by his son Robert.
