Verna Darlene Schuette passed away on August 30, 2016; she was born April 21, 1942 in Juneau, Wisconsin to Gaylord Hallie LeMoine and Verna Lorraine Long.

Married John Henry Schuette on March 28, 1964 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Reedsburg, Wisconsin, and relocated to Johnsburg in McHenry County in 1970.

Worked as an elementary school teacher for the McHenry and Johnsburg school districts for over three decades, and also worked as a hair dresser, Sunday school teacher, and missionary.

Survived by her husband John, four children (Jackie, Kathy, Stephen, and Daniel), six grandchildren, her mother Lorraine Long, three brothers, and extended family.

Illinois Senate expresses sympathy to the family and directs that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to them.
