Alice A. Martin of Alton passed away on October 11, 2016, at age 75.

Worked at the Alton Mental Health Center for 25 years and served as 4th Ward Alderman for the City of Alton for 10 years.

Active in her community as a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, the National Council of Negro Women, and the Coalition for Concerned Citizens.

Survived by her husband Douglas C. Martin Sr., son Jon F. Martin, grandson Jon F. Martin Jr., and extended family members.
