Bob C. Jensen of Moline passed away on October 18, 2016, at age 89.

Served in the United States Navy during World War II and worked in accounting for more than 60 years at local businesses including Erickson Construction, Freed Heating, and Ametek.

Active member of First United Presbyterian Church in Moline, serving as an elder, deacon, Sunday school teacher, and building fund treasurer.

Played softball for 60 years and was a member of the barbershop Bend of the River Chorus for more than 30 years.

Survived by his wife Vernette of 68 years, two children, two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren; the Senate expresses sympathy to his family.
