Illinois Senate expresses condolences for the death of Robert "Bob" Robinson of Crystal Lake, who passed away on September 15, 2016.

Robert Robinson was born March 1, 1933 and was a prominent real estate developer who helped shape Crystal Lake's landscape during the 1960s and 1970s through his work with multiple home building companies, including Brittany Builders and Raintree Builders.

He served in multiple leadership roles including President of the Crystal Lake Park District, Algonquin Township Supervisor, member of the McHenry County Board of Supervisors, and board member of Crystal Lake Bank and Trust.

Robinson served as a radar intercept officer in the United States Air Force, flying F-94 fighter jets, and later worked in real estate sales for Baird and Warner for 22 years.

A suitable copy of this resolution will be presented to Robinson's surviving family, including his wife Kristi of 24 years, four children, ten grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
