Expresses condolences from the Illinois Senate for the death of Dr. Frank James Kerous IV, who passed away on July 29, 2016.

Recognizes Dr. Kerous's career as one of the first periodontists in the Chicago suburbs, maintaining private practices in Arlington Heights and Oak Brook while teaching in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago for 38 years.

Honors his service to Knox College as a trustee from 1974 onward, president of the Knox Alumni Association from 1974 to 1976, and chairman of three capital fund drives.

Notes his role as early member and secretary of the board of elders at Christ Church of Oak Brook, and his principal work creating the church's endowment fund in 1980.

Directs that a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to Dr. Kerous's surviving family: his wife Sandra, three children, and seven grandchildren.
