Honors Gary J. DiPirro of Marengo, who died on October 13, 2016.

DiPirro was born April 1, 1947, in Belvidere to Louie and Sylvia (Sweet) DiPirro; served in the United States Navy from 1966 to 1972 as an aircraft mechanic and received a National Defense Medal.

Worked as a cement contractor throughout his career.

Survived by his sister Lana (Bill) Schifferer, sister-in-law Delores DiPirro, and multiple nieces and nephews.

Senate extends sincere condolences to his family and directs that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the DiPirro family.
