Commemorates the death of Clifford W. M. Leegard of Wonder Lake, who passed away on October 18, 2016.

Leegard was born July 24, 1946, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, served six years as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force, and worked for BNSF Railroad as a signal designer.

Active in his community through membership in the Master Property Owners Association, Wonder Lake Yacht Club, and Boy Scouts, where he achieved Life rank; known for helping neighbors and adopting retired greyhound dogs.

Survived by his wife Lynn, two sons (Jon and Roger), six grandchildren, and two sisters; preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Robert.

Illinois Senate expresses condolences to Leegard's family and directs that a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to them.
