Thomas J. Murray of McHenry passed away on October 16, 2016; he was born July 19, 1945 in Chicago to Thomas and Catherine Murray.

Married Anita on October 6, 1973 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Chicago and was survived by her after 43 years of marriage.

Served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Survived by his sons Thomas M. and Ryan J. Murray, and his sister Catherine Souza; preceded in death by his parents and sister Margaret Murrin.

Illinois Senate expresses condolences to his family and directs that a copy of this resolution be presented to the Murray family.
