Christine Crushella "Chris" Radford-Eastern passed away on October 14, 2016, and the Illinois Senate mourns her passing.

She was born October 11, 1970, in St. Louis, Missouri to Johnnie Sr. and Jacqueline Cotton Radford, graduated from East St. Louis Senior High School in 1988 as Homecoming Queen, and became a licensed cosmetologist.

She worked as a stylist at multiple salons and became co-owner and signature master stylist at Jaqueline's Salon in 2005, establishing herself as a premier hair designer in the bi-state area.

She married Robert "Bobby" Eastern III on June 8, 2012, in Sarasota, Florida and was baptized at Power of Change Christian Church.

The Illinois Senate extends sincere condolences to her surviving family including her husband, six children, mother, siblings, and extended family, and will present a suitable copy of this resolution to her family.
