IL HB0298

Amends the Preventing Sexual Violence in Higher Education Act to require notation of policy violations on academic transcripts for public universities and public community colleges only.

Requires institutions to include violations on transcripts prepared within 5 years following a finding of violation, including transcripts sent to other institutions for student transfers.

When a student transfers between public universities or public community colleges, the receiving institution must also note the violation on transcripts prepared within 5 years of the original violation finding.

Applies only to violations found after the effective date of this amendatory act.
