IL HB0530

Amends the Illinois Public Accounting Act Section 20.1 regarding peer review determinations by the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.

Allows licensees who have failed to satisfactorily complete a peer review to provide additional evidence in their favor during Department review proceedings.

Requires the Department to review any additional evidence provided by a licensee in addition to the existing record presented.

Removes the prohibition on accepting additional evidence from licensees in peer review cases while maintaining that the Department need not conduct a full trial or hearing de novo.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
