Director of the Department of Natural Resources is authorized to exchange two parcels of state-owned property (Parcels 1 and 2) in Lake County, Illinois for a parcel of equal or greater value (Parcel 3) also in Lake County.

Parcel 1 consists of approximately 84.5 acres in Sections 20 and 29, Township 44 North, Range 12 East, originally acquired jointly by Lake County Forest Preserve District and the State in 1980.

Parcel 2 encompasses land in Sections 17 and 18, Township 43 North, Range 12 East, acquired jointly by Lake County Forest Preserve District and the State in 1977, with multiple exclusions noted.

Parcel 3 is property in the Northwest Quarter of Section 9, Township 44 North, Range 9 East, previously acquired by Lake County Forest Preserve District in 2006.

Each party is responsible for their own title costs, and all conveyances are subject to existing utilities, public roads, and recorded easements and restrictions; the Director must record a certified copy of the Act in the Recorder's Office within 60 days.
