HB2396 Summary

• Increases the number of State certified general real estate appraisers required on the Real Estate Appraisal Administration and Disciplinary Board from 4 to 6 members.

• Removes the requirement for 2 board members who hold valid licenses as real estate brokers in addition to real estate appraiser licenses.

• Eliminates the previous paragraph (5) that specified appointment conditions for real estate broker board members.

• Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
