Removes DuPage County and all municipalities located within it from the applicability of automated traffic law enforcement system provisions under the Illinois Vehicle Code.

The bill strikes "DuPage," from Section 11-208.6(m), which limits automated traffic law enforcement system authority to Cook, Kane, Lake, Madison, McHenry, St. Clair, and Will counties and their municipalities.

Automated traffic law enforcement systems in the remaining eligible counties are used to record vehicles entering intersections against red light signals and issue civil penalties not exceeding $100 or require traffic education completion.

Traffic violators may challenge citations in court, by mail, or through administrative hearing, and vehicle owners may submit affidavits claiming another person had custody of the vehicle at the time of violation.
