IL HB2427

Amends the Township Code to authorize township corporate authorities to provide for collection, transport, disposal, and recycling of brush, wood chips, and leaves in unincorporated areas without requiring referendum approval.

Allows townships to use funds authorized under Section 30-117 to pay for brush and leaves collection, transport, and disposal services.

Defines "recycling" as the transfer of brush, wood chips, or leaves by township employees to a facility or place that will utilize the product without charge.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
