IL HB2440

Amends the Park District Code to expand park districts' authority to enter into licensing or management agreements to operate park facilities.

Removes the restriction limiting such agreements to only not-for-profit corporations organized under Illinois law, allowing agreements with other entities.

Changes the covenant requirement from requiring facilities be used to provide public park or recreational programs "for youth" to simply "public park or recreational programs" for all populations.

Effective immediately upon becoming law.
