IL HB2452

Amends the Community-Integrated Living Arrangements Licensure and Certification Act to require the Department conduct inspections of records and premises for each community-integrated living arrangement at least once every 2 years.

Establishes that licensure system must be administered by a quality assurance unit within the Department that is administratively independent of units responsible for funding agencies or community services.

Sets application and renewal fees for licensure at no more than $200 each, with applicants required to submit applications through the Department's established process.

Issues licenses valid for 3 years from the date of issuance unless suspended, revoked by the Department, or voluntarily surrendered by the agency.

Authorizes the Department to issue 6-month temporary permits to applicants to allow reasonable time to become eligible for full licensure under the Act.
