IL HB2484

Amends Section 11E-135 of the School Code regarding incentive payments for districts undergoing reorganization, annexation, or conversion.

Requires the General Assembly to appropriate a sufficient amount each fiscal year to fully fund incentive payments so that funding is not distributed on a prorated basis.

Applies to combined school districts, unit districts, annexed districts, school district conversions, partial elementary unit districts, and other reorganization scenarios.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
