IL HB2598

Amends the Liquor Control Act of 1934 to prohibit any person from bringing into Illinois any alcohol without liquid machine for use or sale.

Expands the definition of "alcohol without liquid machine" to include: (1) devices mixing alcoholic liquor or powder with oxygen, air, or gas to produce inhalable mist or vapor for non-medicinal purposes; and (2) devices mixing products with oxygen, air, or gas to produce inhalable mist or vapor with stimulant, depressant, or hallucinogenic effects on the central nervous system for non-medicinal purposes.

Exempts medical devices (inhalers, nebulizers, atomizers) properly prescribed by a physician and used to dispense prescribed medication from the definition of alcohol without liquid machines.

Exempts alternative nicotine products as defined in the Prevention of Tobacco Use by Minors and Sale and Distribution of Tobacco Products Act from the definition of alcohol without liquid machines.
