Amends the Department of Veterans Affairs Act to require the Department to provide mental health training to frontline employees at veterans service organizations to identify veterans at risk of suicidal thoughts.

Training may include mental health first aid training and amplified suicide advanced training programs.

Department shall assist Veterans Assistance Commissions and veterans' service associations (American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, AMVETS) in providing this training to their employees.

Department shall recruit combat veterans to serve as veteran service officers at veterans service organizations to better relate to fellow combat veterans.

Department of Veterans Affairs must adopt rules necessary to implement these provisions.
