• Removes exemption for insurance or self-insurance claims, loss or risk management information, records, data, advice, and communications from public disclosure requirements.

• Makes Section 7(s) of the Freedom of Information Act blank, effectively eliminating the previous protections for insurance-related information held by public bodies.

• Allows the public to access previously exempted insurance and risk management information through FOIA requests to government agencies.
